What is the most important first step in your wedding planning process? Confirm your wedding budget amount!!!
Why is it the most important part? Because then you’ll know which venue and vendors fit that budget.
Let me paint you a picture. You go to your dream venue and you’re absolutely in love, you can’t fathom getting married anywhere else. The venue coordinator tells you the minimum is $85,000.00++, but your budget is $175,000.00 (If you want a better breakdown of a venue minimum, check out our Venue Minimums tip). You’re almost at $115,000.00 for that alone, so $60,000.00 is not going to be enough for all the vendors you will need to hire.
Our clients are currently spending an average of $1,500.00 per guests, but take note we said average. This can vary depending on the venue and vendors you would like to hire.
We understand that everyone has a budget. Whether you have millions to spend or not, it’s important to be mindful of the pricing in the location you choose to host your wedding.
Pricing in South Florida is at an all time high right now and if you want quality vendors, they come with a price tag. It’s crucial that you do some research (or hire a wedding planner who can guide you) on the local pricing. I know it’s easy to Google the average wedding cost, and it will say $36,000.00, but that’s not accurate to South Florida or accurate to what your wedding vision will cost.
Please be mindful of your budget and hire a wedding planner who will help break it down!
xoxo
